I’m an Executive Director by profession and a writer by curiosity.

For years, I’ve been drawn to the same question in different places: what happens when efficiency replaces relationships? Through my blog The Frightened Face of Nature, I’ve explored that in our relationships with the natural world.

Like a lot of parents, I watched Adolescence on Netflix and couldn’t stop thinking about how technology is changing the way children learn, think, and decide who to trust. The more I looked, the more I saw AI’s role in that. And the more I felt it needed to be written about.

I wrote it for every parent who felt the same way watching that show and didn’t know what to do about it.
